October 2009 - Earl Greene has been promoted to our Green Program Director. Take a few minutes and stop in and meet Earl. Induction into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International is by invitation only to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing. More than 405,000 members have been inducted worldwide, from 86 countries.Savage has been employed with American Medical Careers as Practical Nurse Program Director since 2007. Currently, Savage holds an Associate and Bachelor Degree in Nursing as well as the following certifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and a teaching certificate. As PN program director, Lisa guided the first practical nurse (LPN) class to a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-PN National Licensure exam in 2008. “Lisa is brilliant,” exclaims Patrice Kaufman, American Medical Careers’ school director. “To graduate with dual degrees in a master’s program is no small feat, but to be inducted into the honor society is truly incredible.
