Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant program includes a combination of both clinical and administrative programs.  A Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled professional who serves as an office assistant for health care practitioners and as a liaison between patient and doctor.  The efficiency of a medical office depends, in large measure, on the ability and efficiency of the Medical Assistant.  Experts foresee a highly favorable outlook for employment in this field over the next decade.

Medical Assistants may perform either clinical duties, administrative duties, or both.
